I have lived in Donnington since the early 90’s and have been heavily involved in boxing and Scouting.

I joined the council to see if I could help today’s youngsters in any way shape or form; I strongly believe that if we look after today’s kids then we will have a strong community tomorrow

I have lived in Telford my whole life, recently moving to the parish of Donnington & Muxton. I have been a Parish Councillor previously for

St George’s, so I understand the role and how to run an efficient and productive Council. I am married with two young children, and I care about the area they are going to grow up in.

I own and operate a small business in Hortonwood with a couple of employees, that my business partner and I built from nothing. I understand how to get value for money, and I will apply my business knowledge to the role and to the Parish Council.

I am available to assist and help any resident of the Parish, in any way I can.

I was was born in Buckie, Banffshire.  I moved to Telford over 30 years ago.

Although, I am proud of my Scottish heritage, I consider myself to be a local.

Over the years I have been keen to foster good community relationships.  In 2015, I was fortunate enough to be elected as a Public Governor, for Midlands Partnership NHS Trust (MPFT). I was re-elected for a second, 3 year term of office in 2018. I have a keen interest supporting those with mental health issues and their carers.

I am new to the ways of a Parish Councillor.   However, I believe my role as a Governor will stand me in good stead, as I not afraid to, challenge or question decisions to ensure the needs of the community are heard and met.

I am a trustee of the Telford Mental Health Forum and Co-Chair, a trustee of the Carers Partnership Board for Telford & Wrekin. A Director of Challenging Perceptions, a charity for young people to explore and address mental health issues and wellbeing.

I am looking forward to the new challenge of being a Councillor for Donnington East Ward.

Born in Fieldhouse Drive in 1974, I am a true ‘Muxtonian’. We are extremely fortunate to live in a historical, low crime, friendly and

picturesque hamlet and I want to do more to support the community.

My aim is to ensure that any issues or concerns raised in Muxton are dealt with quickly and effectively as well as improving and enhancing facilities for residents. Muxton residents voice is key to progression, and I am always open to ideas and ready to help.

Some residents will know me from the Seabridge Development appeal 2016/2017. I prepared and presented documents to barristers, petitions, walking developers around Muxton, attending residents housing meetings … we won! I do not oppose sustainable and true affordable developments, I oppose over development on our greenspace and I also stand as a member for Parish Planning committee.

Mummy of four and Grandma of one, I’m a Business Development Manager in Education IT and Chair of Lilleshall Pre-School.

I moved to Telford in 1989 to take up the post as a Production manager for a plastic moulding and assembly company based at Hortonwood, in Telford.

Interests have been Motor bikes, taekwondo, Shotokan, rock climbing, canoeing, now retired activities have been superseded by more leisurely pursuits of walking and general interest in nature. Through dog walking the picking up of bottles, cans and other harmful litter compelled me to being part of the Pride in the community and other activities such as reporting improvements and repairs like potholes that are required to try and make the area a better place to live. Attending the Parish Council meetings has now steered me to standing for a Parish Councillor for Muxton 2019. I am always approachable at any time and interested in listening to residents’ views and comments as to how to improve our neighbourhood. I am looking forward to the opportunity in putting forward improvements that will be of benefit for our community.
